Topic: Staffing Through Change
FLAME programming returns on Wednesday, October 19th at 3:00 pm EST on Zoom with a compelling conversation around the issue of staffing – how to center equity in our compensation, retain people, find new hires, onboard new (and hopefully more diverse) staff, and care for and heal our internal cultures post-pandemic and in a time of difficulty and change.
We are thrilled to welcome Kelly McKinley, CEO, Bay Area Discovery Museum, and Karleen Gardner, Kathleen C. Sherrerd Deputy Director for Learning and Engagement, Philadelphia Museum of Art, who will help lead us in this discussion.
We’d really like to hear from you about your own staffing issues prior to the meeting – here is a link to a short survey on staffing that will inform the agenda for the upcoming discussion.
The Program Committee is co-chaired by Heather Nielsen and Marissa Reyes and includes Stephanie Parrish, Sara Klein, Keri Ryan, and Judy Koke. We will be meeting monthly to plan programs and convenings and making sure you find yourself enriched by being a FLAME member. Reach out to any of the Committee members with ideas and suggestions for what you need and want!
